Arnav Goel

Hey everyone! I’m Arnav. I am excited to run for Year 1 Academic Representative and represent you. First year is always unexplored territory with plenty of challenges and triumphs. To ease the troubles of year 1, I aim to be your voice, ensuring that our collective feedback reaches the department and effective measures can be implemented promptly.

As your academic rep, I would prioritise open communication between the department and the student body through surveys and informal meetups. I want every opinion to be heard and to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their thoughts.

Additionally, I will focus on improving transparency and academic support. As a member of the student staff committee, I will keep you informed about departmental decisions and developments. I will advocate for support systems and further academic resources, including study sessions to help us in our academic journey.

Another primary motive for me would be to establish an inclusive environment through initiatives that foster community spirit. Every student is equal and everyone should be equally engaged.
