Catherine James

Hi I’m Catherine. I’m thrilled to be studying at Imperial and would love to help to support the Undergraduate Council, bringing the voice of all undergraduate medical students, to support Imperial in becoming the best university in the world. I’m prepared to work diligently in a dedicated, committed fashion for this goal, contributing maximally to university policies and activities, liaising positively with fellow council representatives, faculty and students to drive progress and change throughout the university.

I would be excited to promote expansion of Imperial’s global reach by fostering international research partnerships and creating more opportunities for students to collaborate on a global scale. I am dedicated to promoting interdisciplinary approaches in education and research, bringing together medicine, engineering, business, and technology to solve pressing health challenges. I also hope to champion financial sustainability, ensuring that responsible investments and resource management support long-term growth while addressing diversity. Inclusivity is a priority, and I aim to enhance initiatives that empower underrepresented groups and foster a culture of belonging at Imperial. Above all, I wish to advance Imperial as the world leader in research, education, business and innovation, creating the brightest future for us all.
