Hey everyone,

We all know how challenging this year is going to be, so I'm running for well-being Rep because we’re all barely surviving this course. I’ll push for wellbeing activities (mechspace foosball tournament, potlucks, etc.), making sure people know about and can use the counselling services more, and spam emailing heads of subjects for you to get exemption when you've been ill whilst writing a lab report. Overall, I'll get lecturers, tutors, etc. to listen more when you have a problem, whether it is by emailing or going straight to their offices when they're not replying, because it can sometimes be hard to get across that you've been having a difficult time and can't always make academics the priority, and this should be taken more into account.

We're here not only for the degree but also to enjoy our uni experience, so I'll be here to make the year more bearable.
