Friends of Médecins Sans Frontières: Fundraising Coordinator

Hey, I'm Lance and I'm in 4th year medicine doing Cardiovascular Sciences BSc. I believe I would make an excellent Fundraising Coordinator because it's something new that I have never tried before and therefore, something I'm really open to exploring fully. I have seen the amazing work that the Médecins Sans Frontières society have been involved in including their FunRun, Makeathon and various other events. I am looking forward to these experiences and would love to meet a lot of people within the society as well as outside of it to promote it! I think having strong communication as well as teamwork are essential attributes when it comes to this role and I have demonstrated this through participating in events such as Teddy bear Hospital. In addition to this, I have given talks on how to apply to medical school for students in year 12-13 thus, I have the abilities to talk to many people and hopefully organise many fundraising events.
