Blue Thorpe

Hello everyone! I'm Blue, a fourth-year med student at Imperial. Ever since my first cardiology placement in third year, I have fallen in love with the speciality. It would be such a privilege to be a part of the ICSM Heart committee and a role I would not take for granted. As Publicity Officer for the ICSM Coding Society last year, I have honed my leadership, organisational, and communication skills. As Head of Events, my primary goal will be to enrich our members' educational experience. I am eager to implement initiatives such as an ECG crash course, as well as talks and workshops by world-leading cardiologists.

I know from experience that being on a committee requires time and dedication - I am very willing to put my all into this role to make 2024-2025 the best year the ICSM Heart Society has ever seen and convert Imperial from an Endo-centred to a Cardio-centred medical school ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
