As an Academic rep (4yrs), I have consistently supported our year to guarantee issues are resolved ASAP with swift replies. I recognise how faculty work, have analysed & presented feedback and know how to amplify the student voice to implement substantial changes!

Having been ICSMSU Deputy President & Academic Chair for the past two years, I attended the Y6 SSLG meetings so know exactly what issues the previous year encountered and understand what issues could arise this year so we can solve them.

Therefore, I'll be honoured to be your Y6 (Phase3b) Academic Representative to support your final year of med school and ensure you succeed academically!

• Lobied alongside previous Y6 reps to ensure 6-week PFA isn't made longer
• Y5/3 Placement standardisation
• Mock Finals Implementation, and subsequently Mock PACES
• PVB OSCE station support
• Support for Travel Reimbursement
• Year Group Teams
• Retake Advice Scheme
• Updated MedLearn
• and more!

MY AIMS:

• Improve structure & clarify around timetables and OOH shift expectations
• Expand clinical skills to support finals and practice readiness
• Integrate key PFA content earlier into placement teaching
• Ensure firm leads are responsive
• Transparent & active communication with faculty & update cohort with progress/updates
• Ensure all notes/resources from previous year/s are sent to AOCY to be added to notebank
