Hello to all of you whose names I've already learned, and to those whose names I haven't! I’m Chloe, and I am running for academic year rep to improve our experience as first year students at Imperial.
I first tried identifying important issues we might face:
- How should we connect high school knowledge to what we’re learning right now?
- How can we achieve independence in learning as college students?
- Where can we find specific learning resources that support different areas of study?
- How can we approach the ILOs so that we fully master the modules?
- Why do some personal tutors appear to be less helpful than others?
These are issues I’ve personally encountered over the past few weeks and will be working to resolve. I'm also eager to know any other concerns you have!
