RCSU: Events Officer

Hey everyone! I’m Yuvraj, from running Mums & Dads Mixers and boat parties to pub quizzes that got way too competitive, I’ve learned one thing: the best part of Imperial is the community we build outside the lab

As RCSU Events Officer, I want to take that energy bigger and better - think cross-department collaborations, themed nights that actually fill Metric, and events that make science students forget they have 9 a.m. lectures (just for a night).

My plans:
1) Bring societies together - Biochemistry x Maths x Biology x Physics x Chemistry collabs with actual vibes, not awkward silences.

2) Add creative twists - I want to move beyond the standard - think interactive socials, mini science festivals, escape-room challenges, and maybe… bring back bungee jumping? (Responsibly, of course.)

3)Focus on inclusivity - events for everyone, whether you’re into quizzes, cocktails, or caffeine.
