Yuyang Ma

Hi everyone!

I’m Yuyang Ma, a Computing (AI & Machine Learning) student passionate about creating a better academic experience for all of us. Before joining Imperial, I served for three years as a Student–Staff Liaison Committee Representative and later Chair, where I built strong collaboration between students and faculty—ensuring countless real feedback turned into real improvements.

At Imperial, I want to continue that mission. My priorities are:

• Collect and understand your feedback – collecting and summarizing student feedback through surveys, conversations, and emails.
• Amplify student voices - be your voice in student-staff commitees and following up on teaching improvements.
• Build community connections – strengthening communication and collaboration across the Computing community.

With both leadership experience and a genuine commitment to listening, I’ll work to ensure your voice shapes how our department grows.
