Your choice, your voice
I’m running because I’ve seen how small changes driven by feedback can make a lasting difference in how we learn. The BMB course is unique, promoting independence and teamwork, but it’s most effective when we communicate openly.
To highlight what I aim to accomplish in this role, I’ve used my name to represent the values I’ll bring if elected:
Zealous
I am driven to make our first year engaging and rewarding. Whether by gathering feedback through quick polls or open drop-ins, I am dedicated to making your voices not just heard but acted upon.
Action
I won’t just collect concerns; I will turn them into plans. If something is not working, I’ll follow up with faculty, propose solutions, and keep you updated on the progress.
Harmony
I am originally from Turkey, though I grew up in Portugal. Having grown up across two different cultures, I’ve learnt to connect and bring people together. I will use my experiences and mindset to create a sense of unity in our cohort, where every voice, background, and perspective is valued.
Approachability
From being captain of my volleyball team to leading a community initiative for a center that supports people with disabilities – I’ve learnt to listen with empathy. I’ll make sure no one ever feels intimidated to speak up on any concerns or critiques they have.
If elected, your opinions on teaching, workload, and classroom experiences will be heard clearly and acted upon.
