Hi, I’m Han and this autumn I am running for Academic Representative for our BMB course!

Given that there are roughly 160 students in our BMB course, it is inevitable that students may feel that their opinions are insignificant; but in most cases, individual opinions often reflect the collective experience of many others as we are all going through the same motions of the BMB course and are likely to encounter the same academic hurdles. Through teamwork (as cheesy as it may sound), I can work with you to make meaningful improvements to our course whether it be the pre-learning, TBL sessions or our assessments.

As someone who is willing to have a conversation with anyone and genuinely listen, I aim to serve as a link between the student body and the academic staff – making open channels for you to have more academic support in BMB and therefore have the highest chances for academic success. I believe that academic success is synonymous with having a positive and productive learning environment where students do not feel anxious to voice their concerns and suggestions to improve our course.

If you want to be relieved of academic stress and feeling out of your depth in our course (feelings which are likely inexorable in a course that is heavy in application) and be comforted by the fact that I am here as a bridge, vote for me! :)
