Marco Armanna

Hi everyone! I am Marco, a first-year MEng Materials Science and Engineering student, born in Rome and now living in Milan. I have noticed that our Italian Society isn’t as active as it could be, even though there are over 110 of us in the chat! We come from different backgrounds, but we share two things: culture and tradition. I believe our society should be open not only to Italians but also to anyone who wants to experience our culture. As Vice President, I want to bring us together more often, whether for aperitivi, pub crawls, or cheering on our national football team. I also aim to strengthen our ties beyond the Union by joining the United Italian Societies, connecting us with other Italian student communities in London and around the world. Let’s make Imperial’s Italian Society a real bridge between students who share our roots or are simply passionate about Italy.
