Ruby McManus

Hello! My name is Ruby, I'm a second year Geology student, and I'm passionate about creating Sexpression events that are informative, accessible, and most importantly, fun!

What I will bring to the role:

- Educational events:
- Workshops with clinicians, such as consent and communication workshops and queer education workshops
- STI awareness campaigns
- Anonymous "Ask Me Anything" panels

- Collaborative events:
- Events with other societies, such as IQ, to ensure that we are taking an inclusive approach to Sexpression!
- Working with university services to provide useful and practical resources for students
- Working with local sexual health charities to host events and fundraisers

- Social events:
- Movie nights, pub quizzes, and chilled-out socials so that members can get to know each other!
- Speed-friending events
- Monthly tea & talk events

I want to make Sexpression events inclusive, respectful, and educational, so that everybody can feel empowered to make informed decisions and form healthy relationships! If this sounds good to you - vote for me to be your Events Officer for this year!
