Prototyping and Hacking Society: Industry and Outreach Associate

Hi everyone! I’m Natalie, and I’m running for Industry & Outreach Associate because I’m passionate about building meaningful connections between our society, industry, and the wider Imperial community. As an associate, my goal is to create opportunities that bridge the gap between students and professionals, helping our members gain real-world insights, skills, and career prospects.

Here’s what I aim to bring to the role:

Strengthen Industry Links: Reach out to a diverse range of companies and startups, from established tech firms to emerging innovators, to bring in engaging speakers, panels, and workshops.

Expand Career Opportunities: Collaborate with companies to create pathways for internships and mentorships, giving members a platform to apply what they’ve learned beyond the classroom.

Foster Collaboration: Work closely with other societies, departments, and alumni to co-host engaging events (hackathons!) that connect students across disciplines.

As a proactive member of the London tech community with a genuine enthusiasm for networking, I’m eager to represent our society externally and make sure our members are seen, supported, and connected.

Because real innovation starts with real connections. :)
