Hi All!
My name is Duru, a second-year biochemistry student. I spent my first year enjoying the WSET, and second year part-taking in its committee as the FELIX Correspondent.
This year, I would love to be back on this great society, helping to bring you guys more and better events and service! I have a background as a social events officer, secretary, and treasurer of various societies, so I am equipped in the needs of this big society. FELIX correspondent is a role that brings it all, requiring help in many different areas of the committee, and I am very well equipped for that.
As the FELIX Correspondent, I will:
- Create more presence within FELIX and advertisement. Include sections about our sponsors and representation for SET industries.
- Communicate with our sponsors for society-specific events to ensure the privilege and benefits of being a WSET member, even more special.
- Help the society in every way possible.
- Always be open to new ideas and vocalise the voice of our members.
