Hi, I’m Jess and I’m a second-year biomedical engineering student.

I have been a part of WSET for the past year and have thoroughly enjoyed the events and socials organised by the committee. I’d love to take part in the organisation and brainstorming of these events, and through being a Felix correspondent, promote these events further.

By communicating with Felix writers and editors to organise WSET adverts, as well as possible features or news stories, we can encourage other female-identifying and non-binary students to join WSET, where they can meet like-minded individuals and make some new friends. There are so many interesting sponsor events and competitions, as well as fun socials, that are of interest to people outside of WSET – I want to ensure that everyone is aware of the work our team does!

As the Felix correspondent, I will help promote these events and encourage students to get the WSET membership to participate in them. I wish to promote our events further, increasing WSET’s reach to the greater Imperial audience.
