Adi Mehrotra

Hello, I’m Adi, a second-year Mathematics student, and I am excited to announce my candidacy for Treasurer of the Investment Society for the upcoming year. As an active member, attending informative events has helped me and many of my peers broaden our understanding and forge a path into the financial industry. I believe that these educational events, along with fostering a strong community through social activities, are vital in supporting our members' investment and career aspirations. My goals as Treasurer include:

• Establishing a secondary account dedicated to events to enable a greater number of activities and workshops throughout the year.
• Strengthening partnerships and connections within the industry, including securing direct sponsorship for QT Capital.
• Assisting QT Capital in managing real investments and monitoring our portfolio effectively.
• Developing a comprehensive financial reporting policy to enhance transparency through regular statements and establishing consistent performance indicators to measure against our society’s objectives.

In my role managing the accounts for Economyclub, I have gained valuable experience in tracking expenditures and allocating budgets responsibly to meet the needs of various branches. My keen attention to detail and strong collaborative skills make me a natural fit for the role of Treasurer, and I look forward to serving you in this capacity next year.
