As a dedicated and passionate member of our society, I am excited to announce my candidacy for the position of Treasurer.

My experience as Vice President for the Finance Society last year, coupled with my involvement in multiple spring weeks at prestigious firms like Scotiabank and KPMG, has equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this role. Additionally, my experience as Communications Officer for the Chemical Engineering Society has further honed my organisational and communication abilities.

I have also had the privilege of working closely with the president, gaining valuable insights into the society's leadership and strategic planning. I am eager to leverage these experiences to contribute to the continued success and growth of our society.

• Create a budget plan that aligns with the society's goals and objectives.
• Identify and pursue new revenue streams, such as creating merch, organizing fundraising events, and seeking sponsorships to support the society's activities
• Work closely with the executive team to organise educational events and workshops that meet the interests and needs of our members.
• Promote an inclusive and collaborative learning environment that encourages members to share their knowledge and ideas.
• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as sponsors and alumni, to keep them engaged and informed about the society's activities.
• Promote a culture of transparency and accountability by encouraging members to ask questions and provide feedback.
