My name’s Viraj. You may know me through QT Capital pitches or from engaging with Investment Society’s stellar events this year. From speaking to Investment Soc’s previous Treasurers, I’m confident I’m the best candidate to spearhead this role.

Investment Society has incredible footing to connect students with leading finance firms, fostering invaluable networking opportunities. From engaging with QTCap, SEC, fireside chats and networking events, I’m inspired to give back.

With an incoming investment banking summer internship, and completing 5 spring weeks and over 20 insight days from bulge-brackets/middle-market/elite boutique to buyside firms, I’ll leverage my network to optimise our society’s finances.

Why Me?

• Experience generating £10k+ sponsorship as a constituent Union Treasurer
• Chair of 2 previous IC societies, working with £60k+ budgets.
• Ex-treasurer of Imperial ball

My aim for the role is 3-fold:

• Work alongside my co-Treasurer to revise our sponsorship prospectus

• • Create new tiered packages that reflect’s our society’s reach
  • Consider alternative sponsorships with groups like Amplify and IYP

• Ensuring our budget is sustainable/robust
  • Proactively plan termly/annual budgets to ensure we are effectively maximising value for our members, and to negotiate savings.

• Work with events leads to expand our event lineup scope:

• • Increase the scale and variety of events (including planning new initiatives)
  • Work with firm reps to create mutual event speaker/sponsorship packages, sourcing exclusive insight opportunities and internships.
