Hey everyone,

We are Dean and Jeehwan, third-year medics running for Microsurgery Co-Chairs for the upcoming year. With our combined experience on the Plastics, SurgSoc, SORA and various other roles, we believe we are well-equipped to take on this responsibility.

Over the past year, I (Dean) served on the SurgSoc executive committee as webmaster, developing the trauma website and supporting event execution. On the Plastics subcommittee, I gained significant experience in event management. As a research officer for SORA, I organised events and research opportunities. These roles have honed my skills in collaboration, management, and effective communication.

Jeehwan has similarly garnered valuable experience through active participation in the Plastics subcommittee, bringing a strong background in teamwork, event coordination, and member engagement. Together, our diverse skill sets and shared dedication to the field of surgery position us as ideal candidates for Microsurgery Co-Chairs.

Looking forward to the upcoming year, we are excited about the prospect of contributing towards Plastics. Building upon our previous experiences, we aim to introduce innovative initiatives and foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all members. We are committed to advancing the society’s goals and providing enriching opportunities for our peers.
