Isabella Mariani

Hi guys, I’m Isabella! I love talking to people, and would like to organise events where we can all grow a bit closer outside of lectures. If you remember nothing else, I’m running to create more socials and career or subject-related events - with the experience and drive to back it up.

From Union meets to relaxed, fun and easy to attend get-togethers, there will be something for everyone - including events and talks broadly related to our course, to learn more about careers and topics you would be interested in and extend your network with industry professionals and the rest of the Business School.

How do you know that I will deliver? I ran the Economics Society at my school! From setting up and leading weekly discussion groups, mentorship schemes and study groups, to organising big events such as an Economics Festival, I am used to inviting guest speakers, hiring venues, negotiating for funding and keeping track of deadlines - making me a strong team player, communicator, and multi-tasker.

If you feel like you want to expand your horizons and deepen your understanding of Economics, Finance and Data Science outside of lectures, then please vote for me and I will do my best to work closely with the wider committee and you to enact these plans and any others you may have!
