Jeffrey Tang

Hello everyone, I’m Jeffrey and am running to be your year one academic rep! My main goal as your academic rep would be to make sure you settle into your degree comfortably, whilst promoting the communication between the staff and student body. Coming from an East Asian country under a competitive environment, I understand that physics isn’t easy, and that academic pressure certainly doesn’t help! My experience growing up also inspired me to be someone who fosters a welcoming, accepting and open academic environment. As your rep, I will:

• Make sure YOUR voice is delivered in student-staff meetings (and that you know it is being delivered!)
• Be proactive in collecting feedback from the student body, whether it is on deadlines, workload, teaching speed, you name it!
• Promote healthy competition, so you’re motivated, but not stressed.
• Additionally, the photo beside is proof of how wanted I am, and how rewarding it will be if you vote for me :)

We’re at the world’s #2 university, but I promise that I’d be the world’s #1 (!!!) academic rep. For a better year 1 physics experience, vote for me.
